Opened on August 10, 1793, the Musée du Louvre is a world reference for its cultural and historical value. With a consecrated and rigorous artistic curatorship, its collection includes works and historical collections from the Middle Ages, totaling more than 300 thousand works, ranging from Islamic art to the Renaissance, in addition to pieces from Egypt and Ancient Greece, among other rarities.

 

In 1993, the historic complex gained the Carrousel du Louvre, a shopping center that houses renowned luxury boutiques, art galleries, as well as restaurants and an international contemporary art salon. ​ The exhibition, which took place between April 8 and 10, was curated by Marisa Melo, founder of UP Time and a member of the International Art Association.
